Exposition tres emouvante. On entre vraiment dans l’intimite de ce personage fascinant. Merci aux collectioneeurs qui nous ont permis de percevoir cette passion devorante de Frida pour Diego Rivera.
L’exposition est tres didactique, elle nour permet de replacer ces ecrits et dessins intimes dans l’unive artistique, politique et personnel de Frida Kahlo.

An interesting insight into the artist but I feel it is an intrusion on her privacy. Because someone has achieved some fame does not give us the right to dig into her intimate thoughts. The box was hidden indicating a reluctance to share.

Frida’s letters and sketches, the pictures and her poems draw a catechism in the oldest of human religions: that of the heart and soul, emotion.

The very passionate thoughts of Frida revealing the fire of her love (and self-hate for loving) the promiscuous Diego is so intimate and personal that my heart became heavy for Frida in her suffering. Frida lived “the way of the cross”.
